Timber Front Door, Tring

David got in touch with us since he had a specific idea in mind for a new front door to replace his old one at his home in Tring.

He requested to have a door much like his old one, but with windowed panels so as to allow more light into his reception hall. On our visit we were happy lend him our expertise about the design of the new door.

He was concerned about the security of a front door with large windows, but we were able to show him that with toughened safety glass the door would be just as secure as any of the other timber front doors we have fitted over the years.

After taking on David’s design input, such as the colour and fittings, the door was manufactured and ready to be installed. After removing the old front door and securing the new one the reception hall filled with natural light, transforming the once dingy space.
