Slimmer Profiles
Most companies use separate roofs and curtain walls, but our UK designed bespoke aluminium extrusion system features continuous uprights and roof bars, allowing our structures to be stronger, slimmer and more aesthetically pleasing.
Wide range of glazing options
All of our glazing is toughened as standard and you can choose solar control, easy clean or obscured glass for both walls and roof.
Any colour you like
For long lasting, maintenance-free convenience we powder coat your aluminium conservatory, and your choice of colour is almost limitless – simply choose any RAL colour to match your home.
All doors and windows feature high security furniture in white, black or chrome
Once your design is complete, we build your contemporary aluminium conservatory at our UK based workshop and deliver it to your home ready for our installation team to erect.
Aluminium Conservatories and Orangeries – Examples
Aluminium Conservatories and Orangeries – What’s the difference?
The fundamental differences between an Orangery and a Conservatory are the base and the roof. Orangeries typically have a brick base and a flat roof with a centralised roof lantern, whilst conservatories usually have a centralised pitched roof and a frame construction that goes from the ground directly up to the pitched roof edge.
Aluminium Orangeries
Orangeries became fashionable with the owners of grand houses in the Georgian period and were often used to grow and cultivate citrus trees that require lots of warmth and light to grow.
As it became easier to import citrus fruits, orangeries were used more often as living space, and to grow other plants and vegetables.
These days, orangeries and conservatories are used for very similar purposes and are built as a home extension to provide bright and elegant extra living space.
Aluminium Conservatories
Conservatories are an evolution of the principles of an Orangery, but tend to offer more heat and light. Conservatory structures usually have larger glass panels with less brickwork, maximising the amount of light that can enter.
Conservatory frames minimise the architectural components required to hold the glass panels, so they can allow far more natural light in than a typical orangery.
Conservatories usually connect to your property on a single adjoining wall which the conservatory roof slopes toward.
