Aluminium French Doors and Rear Door, Great Rollright, Oxfordshire

Joe and his wife were restoring their lovely, recently purchased, period stone cottage in Great Rollright, Oxfordshire. They wanted to open up the rear of the building by changing an existing kitchen window into a set of French doors for direct access into the garden.

They chose our slim Heritage Aluminium steel-look replacement doors which work beautifully with a stone building. These doors add a touch of elegance and offer modern level security in terms of locking mechanisms but are still very much in keeping with the character of the property. Additionally they also wanted to change their single back door as well to finish off the overall look.

They were initially a bit apprehensive about who could do the cut down building works to create the aperture for the French Doors, we recommended a local independent builder who we have previously worked with. They were thrilled that this could be organised alongside our installation, and continued to use this builder for additional work on the renovations.

The new aluminium French doors and rear door have breathed new life into the cottage as well as providing additional natural light and the peace of mind of modern security systems.
