Timber Casement Windows, Front, Stable and French Doors, Witney

A few years ago Charles reached out to us to us to replace his front door, and since then had called upon us to further upgrade the windows and doors of his Cotswolds home.

Charles had been very pleased with the replacement front door and contacted us again to replace his back door. He had chosen a stable door with toughened glass, painted to match the previously installed timber front door.

This year he was in touch once more concerning his casement windows and French doors. Charles had been wondering about changing the windows and after having the two doors replaced by us his mind was made up that Woodcraft were the only ones suitable to replace the windows and French doors to complete the look of his home.

This job would be more extensive than the front and back door installations, but it was nothing our team couldn’t handle. Charles felt the existing uPVC windows were clashing with the Cotswold cottage aesthetic of the property and desired wooden flush casement windows painted to match the existing doors that had been installed by us.

The replacement windows and French doors were carefully designed and manufactured by us to adhere closely to the form of the existing windows and French doors, with minor alterations to the fittings to suit Charles’ tastes.

The work was undertaken over 5 days, with methodical removal and installation to mitigate disruption to Charles and the household as much as possible. Charles now has a full house of matching windows and doors with modern security and materials whilst contributing to a classic Cotswolds cottage style.
