New Front Door and Side Lights, Long Wittenham, Oxfordshire

For their new front entrance door & sidelights Les & his wife wanted something secure & modern looking. They had been looking at aluminium contemporary doors but were never keen on the overall finish of the aluminium and the black gaskets around the glazing that seemed to be standard on aluminium products.

Instead, they opted for our contemporary style engineered European redwood door with a grooved flat panel detail and glazed to frame sidelights with full height sandblasted glass and a clear border.

They decided to go with a modern but sophisticated Farrow & Ball colour match finish on the outside of the new door and opted for a Farrow & Ball colour match white finish on the inside to keep the hallway nice and light.

Les and his wife opted for the long “off set” pull bar style handle with separate escutcheon and stainless-steel style letter plate to finish off the contemporary look.

They are thrilled with the final look, finish of workmanship and overall transformation it has made to the entrance of their property.
