New Timber Sash Windows, Binfield, Bracknell

Ashleigh lives in a Victorian semi‑detached property where original box sash windows had previously been replaced with UPVC.

This project involved replacing two existing uPVC top‑hung windows with traditional timber box sash windows to restore the original Victorian aesthetic of the property.

The new windows were manufactured in engineered pine with polished chrome hardware, double‑glazed units (4‑16‑4), trickle vents, 23mm glazing bars, and white RAL 9010 satin paint finish.

One window was installed in the kitchen (SW01) and one in the bedroom (SW02). Both were fitted from the outside, with internal plasterboard reveals cut back to accommodate the new frames.

The kitchen window required removal of the existing stone cill.
