Simon had single glazed Timber Sash Windows on an older house in West Hampstead London that were no longer providing the necessary insulation.
He needed replacement windows that would meet the council’s strict guidelines for retaining the original look of the house while providing the necessary insulation.
Our team at Woodcraft Windows supplied and installed 5 Double Glazed Timber Sash Windows and one Casement Window using engineered pine and engineered oak handmade in our own workshops. Our experienced professionals carefully removed the existing wooden shutters and then fit them back once the new double glazed sash windows were installed.
Despite the project’s complexity due to the various sizes and specifications of the windows, we were able to deliver according to our Simons wishes. The completed project resulted in Simon having a fully insulated home while still retaining the house’s original look.
