French Doors, Sash Windows and Wooden Bifold Doors, Iffley, Oxford
Nestled in the picturesque village of Iffley, Oxford, this stunning period home is situated within a designated conservation area. Our clients, Daniel and Jennifer, sought a seamless blend of heritage preservation and modern functionality as they embarked on a renovation and extension project.
Understanding the strict guidelines of conservation areas, we meticulously designed and installed bespoke timber windows and doors that respected the property’s historical charm while improving energy efficiency and security.
- Timber Sash Window Replacements
Three traditional timber sash windows were crafted and installed, maintaining the original aesthetic of the home while enhancing insulation and smooth operation. These windows feature high-performance glazing, offering improved thermal efficiency without compromising the authentic style.
- French Doors for Classic Elegance
A set of elegant timber French doors was installed to create a graceful transition between the home’s interior and garden, complementing the property’s timeless architecture. - Bifold Doors for a Contemporary Touch
In the newly added extension, we introduced a bespoke set of timber bifold doors, maximizing natural light and offering a seamless connection to outdoor spaces. The warm, natural timber finish beautifully ties together the classic and modern elements of the home.
Daniel and Jennifer were delighted with the results, praising the craftsmanship and attention to detail. They particularly appreciated how our team balanced tradition with innovation, ensuring the new additions remained in harmony with the home’s original character. “We couldn’t be happier with the work—our home looks stunning, and the quality is second to none. We will definitely recommend you to our friends and neighbours!”
