Timber Casement Windows and Rear Door, Leeds

Timber Casement Windows and Rear Door, Leeds. Woodcraft Windows

Peter approached us in March seeking three replacement windows and a new rear garden door for his farmhouse. The existing windows were showing significant signs of deterioration, including areas of dry rot, and the double-glazed units had failed, resulting in poor insulation.

The rear door was also in very poor condition: it was jamming, had excessive gaps, and allowed draughts and water to enter. It had become increasingly difficult to operate, making it a struggle to close and limiting everyday access to the beautiful garden and its stunning views over the fields.

The project was straightforward: a like-for-like replacement, with the addition of Georgian bars to the new door to break up the glazing aesthetically. The colours were carefully chosen to match the existing windows and doors — Little Greene Sky Blue externally and RAL 8007 Brown internally — complemented by elegant brass hardware.

The installation process was efficient and carried out with no inconvenience to the client. In fact, Peter was so delighted with the final result that he happily posed for a photograph to show just how pleased he was.

Another completed project, another happy client — and a wonderful reminder of the value we add and the smiles we bring to our customers’ faces.

“Great job — I couldn’t have asked for more. You’ve exceeded all my expectations.
