Nicola recently purchased her dream home in Ilkley and quickly began working through her to-do list—replacing the front door was right at the top. Being local to the area, she reached out to us for advice and expertise.

At our initial meeting, Nicola explained that the existing door felt outdated, didn’t complement the style of the property, and hardly even looked like a proper front door.

Together, we explored various design options until we found the perfect fit—one that ticked all the boxes. The new design incorporated significantly more solid wood and reduced the glazed area. This allowed for a good amount of natural light while maintaining the privacy Nicola was after.

As is often the case, Nicola obtained several quotes from different companies. While we weren’t the cheapest, our craftsmanship and attention to detail stood out above the rest. She chose to move forward with us.

Nicola opted for a gloss finish in “Puck” by Little Greene—a rich green tone—paired with classic brass door furniture.
