French Doors, Sash and Casement Windows, Henley-on-Thames

We were recommended to Rob as the company that focuses on high-quality details and on-time delivery, so we had a reputation to live up to on this project.

On top of that high expectation, Rob is a retired ‘Beautiful Homes’ developer, so he had a very clear vision of how he wanted his renovated house in Henley-on-Thames to look.

Although retaining many of its original features, the house had a mixture of old single-glazed wooden casement windows and replacement UPVC units that tried to mimic the style of the originals.

Rob was in the process of extending and remodelling the property, so he asked us to design new engineered timber sash windows for the main house and the new timber-clad extension being constructed by his building company.

We worked closely with him on the style of glass, openings and decorative bars, finally agreeing on windows and doors that were more in keeping with the style of the house.

There was difficult access to the property and we were on a tight schedule that included coordinating works with the building company, but after 11 days of hard work we’re extremely happy with the results – and so is Rob.
