Stable and Patio Doors, London
The front and rear doors of Anna’s London home were old and unappealing, with cracked paint, weather damaged woodwork and were single glazed.
Not only were the doors (and a single casement window) an aesthetic issue, they let in drafts, encouraged mould and were an obvious security risk. Anna didn’t just want, but needed a change, and she would only be satisfied with the highest quality replacements, leading her to Woodcraft Windows.
After we spoke to Anna we assessed the old doors and window and worked with her on suitable replacements, which are bespoke designed and manufactured. She wanted something special for the front door, and so selected a hardwood stable door with a bright and striking coat of paint which would add character to her home.
The new stable front door, rear patio doors with windows and the downstairs casement window have not only greatly increased the energy efficiency and security of the home, but have revived the appeal and character of the property.
“We are very happy with Woodcraft Windows. They supplied and fitted a first-class product. Our Stable door adds great character to our home along with security and has stopped the weather coming into our house. The Patio doors with windows to the sides has opened our garden to be another part of the house. Letting in so much more light and very sustainable. Thank you, Woodcraft and the team.”
