Stephen bought this lovely sprawling detached chalet-bungalow in Didcot in 2018.
The windows and French doors were all in need of replacement, but directly after his move, the cost was prohibitive. So we agreed to stage the refurbishment over two stages, tackling the worst windows straight away and the remainder a year later.
The project was finished in August 2019. In total we designed, built and installed nine timber casement windows and three French doors using engineered softwood and hardwood
The bay French doors with side windows were tricky to measure and install, but as usual we took very careful measurements and the process went very well.
Stephen’s home now provides better heat-retention and security, and we think it looks fantastic. Take a look at the photo galleries below and see if you agree…
